Join Sonar-Global

The Sonar-Global Association and the Social Sciences Emergency Support Network promote synergies among researchers, field workers, health professionals, students, teachers, policy makers and others working on infectious threats and antimicrobial resistance, and preparedness and response to health and environmental disasters. We invite you to sign-up to access the platform. You have two membership options:

1. Become a member of the Sonar-Global Association

Help shape and support the role of social sciences in epidemic and disaster preparedness and response. As a member, you may be invited to participate in funded research activities, help develop funding proposals, or engage in knowledge sharing and advocacy. There is no membership fee, though voluntary donations are welcome. As a member of the association, your profile is not visible to other members.

2. Join the Sonar Social Sciences Emergency Support Network

Contribute your expertise in times of health or disaster emergencies—such as through tool development, training, strategic guidance, or rapid research—in response to official requests. This initiative is coordinated by the Sonar-Global Association and supported by the Sonar-Cities project.
As a member of the Emergency Support Network, your profile is visible to other users, with a view to facilitating collaboration. Members of the Emergency Support Network are automatically members of the Sonar-Global Association.
Please note, you do not have to be an expert in our research fields to join the Association and Emergency Support Network: people seeking advice from our community are also invited to join in order to have access to the contact details and domains of expertise available. If you wish, you can sign up below without filling in any of the additional questions: just enter your name, email and confirmation of joining the Association and Network, and skip to the end of the form.
