On World Antimicrobial Awareness week, we are excited to share with you our new unique Special-Soc AMR aimed for trainers to teach a course on AMR (antimicrobial resistance) to students who want to integrate knowledge on AMR in their professional or academic practice.
Every year, World Antimicrobial Awareness Week aims to increase awareness of global antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and to encourage best practices among the general public, health workers and policy makers to stop the further emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections. Sonar-Global takes part in that mission by creating a global network of social sciences for the preparedness and response to infectious threat – that is, for both epidemics and for the emergence of antimicrobial resistance.
